And in the end…

…we had to leave the tourbus in Turku early sunday morning to get on the Bandit Boat, so we could not write anything on our blog. But here goes!

The gig at Rockin Hood in Salo was also a blast, very loud and sweaty! The place was fxxing crowded and we had some real hardcore fans there who made our time in Salo worth while.
We had to leave the party almost right after the gig to go to Turku, got some sleep in the tourbus, woke up early and got on the boat around 8 in the morning. Man, people on the boat, who probably enjoyed Deathstars the night before was still partying! Hell yeah!

Our gig was in the afternoon and we  spend the day to get some rest in our suite on the top floor on the boat! Real luxury!
The stage was big, and so was the venue, but when we got on stage, the place was crowded and the gig was amazing. We did 2 encores before we ended this tour! Thanks everyone for being there! We hope you liked it!

Kouvola rocks!!!

Well, it might not look like the best town in the world, but now I really think it is! Kouvola, hell yeah! The best gig so far on this tour! I have never seen so many hardcore fans that sang along in every fucking song! The sound yesterday was loud as an airplane but no one seemed to mind!

What else happened yesterday? Well, Kim, our merchandise sales guy, had the question of the day; look at the picture of him holding a piece of potatoe and answer him please why they do them like that and not just regular french fries!!!! Well, that is the kind of important things we talk about on tour. And when to get the next beer!

Today the weather is great! The bus is so fxxing hot, everyone in here is half naked cause it is so hot! We have kind of experienced 4 seasons in 10 days now.

Below you see Fred practicing his guitar skills, me blogging, Magnus showing of his strength, Calle enjoying the sun in Tallinn, some guys in Tampere in the morning and the Kim wondering where potatoes comes from.

No beer in Tampere

Just as we arrived at Hellä in Tampere yesterday we got told that the venue had lost their liquor licence. Don’t really know why, but after some dealing and trying to move the gig to another venue we decided to go through with the gig at Hellä anyway.

But still, the gig was really good, actually better than the last time we were there. We did 2 encores for the audience and got to meet some really nice people afterwards.

Tonight we rock at Donington, Kouvola, hope that will be a good show. Last time there was a blast. Hot like hell!

Below is Magnus enjoying the weather on the road, and Tompa from Silver Moth and Fred doing an erotic striptease in the strippers cage!

What about Finland then?

After touring a couple of times here in Finland it hits you that it´s a really nice country, with all the lakes and the nature. But the best about Finland are the people - really cool, easy going and very friendly (well - they have some assholes too, but lets not talk bout them now)

So it is a pleasure being in this cold(!?!) country, because the audience is also one of the best you can have, at least thats what I think. Only a couple of days left, but the management will try to get us back this fall, can´t wait.

Oh, check out an interview me and fred did at www.radiorock.fi
just klick video

Feeling better now after some good sleep in our nice bus
Over and out

Turku calling

Another gig down to history, this time we played Klubi in Turku. Actually we have played here once  before, but this time we played the smaller stage downstairs. It was much better, a bit more intimate. I loved it.

Something happened to Silver Moth’s hotellbooking so they had to sleep in the bus. And there was no heat so in the morning, some frozen finnish guys beggin me to borrow our shower. Of course I turned them down ;-)

Today poor Magnus and Calle is feeling a bit sick too, but I am actually feeling great! Just need to get me a beer and a snus and everything will be heaven!!!!

Below you see Eetu, our soundtechnichian beeing a barbarian, me in the bus, me on stage in Seinajoki and the police car that pulled the bus over because Johannes, our driver drove a red light.

The backside of the tour

In a few minutes we are leaving for Turku, and I just wanted to let you know a little bit about the life on tour.
The show in Tallinn was great, a great place with great sound and a good party. The beer was amazing. Although the hotel was a shithole that smelled like mould. And that is probably what made my last night so fucking shitty! We came back to Helsinki in the evening and had a little gathering at Esa, the tourmanagers place. I felt a bit lazy so  I tried to crash early. After a while I started to freeze and then sweat and then freeze again. So my night was a feverish experience.

Now im feeling a little bit better so the shows are in no danger I think.
But  to be sick on tour - its a motherfucker!!!!

Sauna club

God morning everybody! A new day in Helsinki, the sun is shining and everyone seems to be in a good mood after yesterdays sauna party at Tompas place. (Singer from Silver Moth). Thanks for the hospitality Tompa!
Afterwards we had some good fun at Esas place, having a few beers. Magnus played Metallica guitarsolos on a Kazoo.

And you can probably see the difference in these 2 pictures, which ones that knows how to take a good sauna, and which ones are not! Right?

Now we are of to Tallinn.

Firebox Metal Fest

Yesterdays show at Firebox Metal Fest was great, a big crowd, big stage, awesome sound and just really a blast.
Sparzanza was, in my mind, a good break for the audience, since  all the other bands was really doomy and slow! No really good bands actually, I guess the only one worth mention is Katatonia, fellow Swedes, that did a good show, not my cup of tea, but the crowd seemed to like them.

Red Dead Revolver is now my favourite Sparzanza song to play live, it works awesome every time. Although I have to sing the higher harmony in the chorus, and since the tourlife gets you a bit tired (wonder why?) I almost faint every time I sing it.

Today we have a day off and are spending it going back to Helsinki by bus.  The tourbus is awesome, especially the “red light district” in the back. We are going to meet up with Silver Moth later on today and try their sauna, real Finland style! I hope they don´t smoke us out of the sauna! We´ll see!!!

I also heard that the guys behind Pirate Bay got their sentence, one year in prison and got to pay 30 million swedish crowns! Wonder what will happen with the illegal downloading now?

The future is here!!!

Here´s a short report from the tourbus. Blogging on the tourbus is great, sitting back, relaxing in a sofa with a beer. Calle is playing guitar, trying to figure out how to play our national anthem, Fred is watching movies, Evil is listening to Pantera or Ramstein, The kim is just relaxing and Magnus is enjoying his first time in Finland. His surname is Eronen, so you might just figure out that his family is from Finland. He will probably stay here cause he loves it so much.

The gig last night was good, but weird, since the audience was far away. There was a big fucking wrestling-ring in front of the stage. The wrestling was cool, but our favourite Starbuck lost agains Bambikiller. What a show.

Now we are on the way to the festival in Seinajoki to play. Gonna be a good show.

Over and out!

And soon we’re off to Finland

Today we spend our day preparing ourselves. Packing our bags, making sure we have guitar pics, earplugs, new strings and batteries for our pedals and Iphones! We have also had some conversations with the booking agency since someone almost robbed us of 24 hours in a big, cool tourbus! Now that is fixed so we don’t have to drive to the festival in Seinajoki in a Toyota Hiace.

We are really looking forward to this tour, especially the gigs in Helsinki and Tallinn, where the pro wrestlers also are going to perform! Now we can learn how that stuff really works - ’cause everyone must know it’ s just theater, but who decides who’s going to win???? Anyway that will be a blast and hopefully some Kodak Moments for you to enjoy later on!

Hope to see you out there!
